Known as a milder non-peated Islay whisky Bunnahabhain is famous for its links with the sea especially as it had no land access until the 1960s, relying instead on the movement of goods in and out via its iconic pier (last used in 1993).

Unlike other Islay distilleries, Bunnahabhain draws its water directly from a local natural spring, giving the whisky its signature unpeated profile. Charles Edge have selected a 12-year-old Bunnahabhain whisky matured in a first-fill sherry butt since 2009, which gives this light whisky a hedgerow fruit nose and palate.
