Williamson Teas

We grow, select and blend our tea in Kenya on our own farms. Our core range includes our famous silver cartons, our classic silver Williamson Tea caddies and our eminently collectable elephant caddies. Our Lifeboat tea range helps raise money for the RNLI. All our teas are Rainforest Alliance certified.

All our teas come from our own farms in the highlands of Kenya. The climate here is ideally suited for the tea production, with the tea bushes enjoying the bright morning sunshine and almost daily rainfall, which provides the perfect conditions for growth.

Kenya is not just one of the world’s finest tea growing areas, but is also rich in wildlife and dense forest. We take our community, welfare and environmental responsibilities very seriously, which is one reason why we were the first major tea farmer in the world to be UTZ and Rainforest Alliance certified.

  • Williamson Tea Ginger Grove is an uplifting and warming tea. Fresh teas grown solely on the slopes looking down to Lake Victoria on our Kaimosi farm are carefully selected and then combined with real ginger pieces to create a tea that is revitalising yet soothing for the body. 
  • Williamson Tea Sunishine Lemon is a zesty and refreshing tea ideal at any time of day. This bright black tea is specially grown on our Changoi farm in Kenya, where with the dawn rising over the Kericho hills the finest tips are hand selected to be infused with real lemon peel and natural oil.
  • Williamson Tea Mint Garden is a fresh and revitalising tea. Its easy to drink, especially after a meal. Grown high on the ridge lines of beautiful Tinderet our Green Tea is bursting with antioxidants and when combined with fresh mint leaves produces a blend that can help refresh the body and create a feeling of wellbeing.

  • Earl Grey with Blue Flowers is a delicately scented tea with blue cornflowers from their own Kaimosi farm in Kenya. It is both uplifting and soothing.
  • Pure Green Earl Grey is a delicately scented tea from their own Tinderet Farm in Kenya. It is rich in antioxidants helping create a sense of well being.
  • Purple Blush is a light and refreshing tea from their own Changoi farm in Kneya. Extemely rich in antioxidants just add lemon to reveal the secret blush.
  • Zinga Black is a bright and robust tea from their own Zinga Farm in Kenya. It is utterly unqiue and delightfully enlivening.

  • Pure Green. Our Pure Green is made when we control the fermentation of the picked leaf as it comes from the fields. The delicate leaf is withered, and then dried quickly, with no fermentation allowed. This is a unique process designed to preserve all the natural antioxidants within the leaf, making it, in our view, one of the healthiest green teas around. Tasting Note: A light and floral cup, delivering a mellow and soothing taste.
