In 1999, Zerafina Idris started to source for exceptional products and niche producers for a New York based B2B company that sells and connect international suppliers to a network of US retailers.

After copious meals throughout Malaysia tasting curries flavours from Malaysia, Thailand and India. 10 years ago, the career gals Zerafina Idris and Fay Khoo (renowned Food writer) embarked on creating gourmet food products which is the perfect antidote for people on the go who want to eat healthy and delicious food, but simply cannot spare time to slave over a hot stove; launching Miss Khoos Asian Deli range.

Consisting only of the finest spices and ingredients and proudly preservative and monosodium-glutamate-free, Miss Khoos Asian Deli products are made by a carefully selected team of suppliers experienced in satisfying generations of hungry and discerning Asians.

They are hygienically packaged in compact silver printed foil/paper bags with bold labels in bright colours for easy identification. Besides their appealing visual minimalism, the single-use packaging also ensures convenience and no out of date items clogging up precious pantry space. Each has their own recipes instructions.

The tantalising and perennially loved flavours - Thai Green Curry, Thai Red Curry, Masala and Madras pastes and Essential Curry, Kapitan Curry, Kurma Curry and Rendang Curry curry spice mixes.

Curry Powders

Miss Khoo's Asian Deli curry powders are delightful examples of form meeting function. The funky 30g sachets are hermetically sealed and contain authentic curry powders blended in Malaysia by veterans of the curry trade. All the powder mixes are entirely natural with zero additives, are microwaveable and are proudly monosodium glutamate-free. On a diet? Cook with skim milk instead of coconut milk for a guilt-free meal.

Essential Curry

Miss Khoo's generic Essential Curry powder is super-versatile and can be used for virtually anything, from spicing up a coronation chicken salad to adding verve to a broth. Use as a base for a vegetarian curry, or combine with meat for a tasty meal on the go!

Laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup from Peranakan culture, which is a merger of Chinese and Malay elements found in Malaysia and Singapore. The name may originate from the Sanskrit word laksha, meaning "many" and referring to the soup's many ingredients and multiple ways you can jazz up this dish.

All Season Noodle Soup

A tip top favourite similar in taste to Tom yam soup that is not for the faint hearted. This killer Far Eastern favourite is perfect on its own (though fiery), and even lovelier when paired with fine rice noodles, oyster mushrooms and oodles of seafood, which will tame the spicy zing.

Curry Laksa
